Job Introduction
Handelsbanken PLC has an immediate requirement for an experienced, enthusiastic, people-centric IT Project Manager with a dynamic, ‘can do’ attitude. The position will support UKTBW, the IT team providing development and infrastructure service to the subsidiary Handelsbanken Wealth & Asset Management. The candidate will have at least 5 years of IT project management experience (both infrastructure and development) preferably in the financial sector.

The ideal candidate would possess good working knowledge of the wealth and investment management business, and the technology systems and infrastructure needed in order to support that business.
Main Responsibilities
- The position will provide a broad range of analytical, general management and project management skills to the IT team supporting HWAM.
- This is a position requiring versatility and a willingness to seize a diverse (potentially ill defined) set of work-streams, rapidly clarify requirements, plan suitable responses, then monitor and manage progress and deliver results.
- The candidate should be familiar with all aspects of project management from initial scoping through to go-live and transition to BAU.
- Assignments will include everything from greenfield development work (SQL, .NET/C#) to infrastructure lifecycle upgrades (current split 65% development 35% infrastructure).
- The successful candidate will also be required to support the Head of UKTBW in progressing tasks relating to IT Risk, IT Audit, IT Reporting, and IT Governance.
- Experince of IT (development and infrastructure) Project Management experience
- Proven ability to take IT projects from requirement definition through to BAU
- PM experience working in large corporates and smaller organisations
- Very strong stakeholder management skills, with ability to build effective networks with stakeholders, both internally and externally
- Ability to efficiently and effectively manage multiple contiguous work-streams
- Very strong communication (verbal and written) with proven ability to rapidly generate concise high-quality presentations and reports.

- Experience working for a financial institution.
- Experience working on technical projects as a project manager
- Familiarity with Agile working practices (Jira, kanban, standups, scrum).
- Project experience relating to MS SQL, .NET/C#, MS SharePoint, MS D365.
- Project experience relating to HW/SW lifecycle, ITSec, IT Audit, office moves.
- Experience working with IT Audit and IT Security Audit (IRAM, PRAS, PEN).
- Relevant information technology, managerial and project management qualifications.
