Job Introduction
Handelsbanken Plc is embarking on an exciting journey to Modernise its IT, building a new platform using best in breed technologies to support the Bank’s growth agenda. As part of this process the Bank will be building a network of new technology partners that will provide a wide range of solutions in support of our objectives. The Technology Partnerships Manager is a key role in this process, working closely with the UK Technology stakeholders, procurement team and other stakeholder across the Bank
Main Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with procurement, legal and other departments as needed in support of vendor selection processes, leading on collating functional input with delivery, technology and product teams
- Co-ordinate delivery dependencies and related activities with internal departments as required.
- Manage the process to document, assess and communicate any risks associated with managing key technology partners
- Champion UK Technology for any third party requirement to support modernisation and act as an SME/advisor
- Work with key stakeholders in relevant departments (including technology, procurement, legal and compliance) to prepare for and support regulatory engagement where appropriate
- Align ongoing management of the contract with existing policies and procedures within the Bank
- Operate alongside the UK Technology Office to align on financial management
- Support with ongoing technology partner relationship management, including monitoring and reporting of performance against contractual commitments

- Experience working in technology delivery for comparable organisation or for a relevant technology product or services organisation
- Experience of working with multiple types of technology service – software, infrastructure, SaaS etc
- Experience and relationships with a range of technology product or service providers
- Evidence detailed knowledge of different technology delivery methods and the interaction of these with commercial requirements
- Knowledge of risk management best practice and an ability to understand and operate processes within HB plc risk tolerance
- Experience of shaping and managing complex technology contracts
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, the successful candidate will need to work closely with Handelsbanken Plc. stakeholders, relevant Group departments and manage multiple vendor relationships
- Experience supporting the delivery of large, high value RFI and RFP processes
