Main Responsibilities
We are looking for a Customer Proposition Manager to join the Wealth Customer Proposition Team, reporting to the Head of Wealth Customer Proposition.
You will be joining a recently formed team, who is in the process of designing the future Wealth Proposition.
We are looking for someone with experience in designing and managing a competitive and customer centric Wealth Management Proposition in businesses of similar structure (part of a retail and corporate Bank) and size, or bigger. You will be liaising with several teams across the business including Product Governance, Product and Service Owners, Marketing, Data Analytics, Customer Insights, Client Directors and Associate Client Directors, Asset Management, Retail and Corporate Customer Proposition, Digital, Change, and Risk and Compliance.
- Alongside the Head of Wealth Customer Proposition and Wealth Product/Service owners design, implement and maintain a compelling Wealth customer proposition across all Wealth product and service offerings.
- Ensure that Wealth’s customer proposition is aligned to and integrated with Handelsbanken plc and the wider Handelsbanken group to the extent possible.
- Develop the revenue and growth model supporting the development of the proposition.
- Work with the Customer insights team to deliver the capability to access customer insights on an ongoing basis, and define the quantitative and qualitative research to facilitate a data-based and insight led approach to developing and evolving the proposition.
- Working with data analytics colleagues, develop a detailed, data-led client segmentation model.
- Take responsibility for the overall pricing and pricing disclosures through the customer journey.
- Own the end-to-end customer experience across the Wealth customer proposition. Work with product and service owners, and colleagues in the client-facing, operations and second-line teams to review the end-to-end customer journey and ensure that it delivers a best-in-class experience for clients.
- SME for Onboarding to Wealth, supporting the vision of a unified onboarding experience between HB and Wealth to the extent possible.
- Work with customer-facing colleagues, marketing colleagues, and product and service owners to review and develop the client artifacts and digital experience.
- Assess industry trends and the regulatory environment in which Wealth operates and identify opportunities the evolving regulatory landscape and competitive environment may present.
- Represent the Proposition team demand to the Delivery teams (covering CRM, digital channels, onboarding, etc.).

- Extensive experience in a customer proposition development or product / service development role within the investment management or wealth management industry, with a strong working knowledge of personal banking investor types and the products / services offered by Wealth Managers in the UK
- Ideally experience in collecting and analysing customer insights in a structured manner, and drawing inferences from data
- Strong understanding of the financial drivers and commercials of wealth management products and services
- Ability to use data to support decision-making and recommendations
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence, work effectively and build relationships at all levels within Wealth, Plc and across the Group
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry best practices relevant to the wealth management industry, including Consumer Duty
- Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills
- Collaborative and team-oriented approach
- Ability to work independently, work under pressure, prioritise work and work with competing deadlines
