The Business Systems and IT Change department has identified the need for a highly proficient, Agile Business Analyst who will play an instrumental part in this journey, specifically within our Digital Transformation teamsThe Digital transformation teams are responsible for the Bank’s corporate and individual online banking channels, including mobile applications. 

The successful candidate must firstly be an experienced business analyst with a broad toolkit relative to industry standard business analysis service offerings (please see the Skills section below). Ideally the candidate will also have one or more of the desirable skills listed, given the role’ focus on agility, technology, and digital transformation. Experience within the Banking sector will also be highly advantageous.

Main Responsibilities 

  • Working as part of a multi-disciplinary agile team, the successful candidate will be responsible for the product development of digital services, ensuring a customer centric, reliable and competitive digital offering.
  • Advise on the business analysis work approach within a business area (see skills sections below), also demonstrating a hands-on approach by performing business analysis work within an agile delivery team.
  • Setting standards including business analysis governance and guidelines, with a potential opportunity to be part of a centre of excellence.
  • Be a key member and contributor to our business analysis discipline and community of practice.
  • Coaching of less experienced / developmental business analysts, in support of their hands-on learning and career pathway.

  • Business Situation Analysis: Experienced in investigating business situations to define recommendations for improvement action.
  • Feasibility Assessment and Business Case Development: Experienced in defining, evaluating and describing business change options for financial, technical and business feasibility, and strategic alignment
  • Requirements Definition and Management: Experienced in managing requirements (e.g. features and stories) through the entire delivery and operational life cycle.
  • Business Process Improvement: Experienced in creating new and improved approaches to performing business activities.
  • Business Modelling: Experienced in producing abstract or distilled representations of real-world, business situations.
  • Acceptance Testing: Experienced in validating systems, products, business processes or services to determine whether the acceptance criteria have been satisfied.
  • Organisational Change Management: Experienced in planning, designing and implementing activities to transition the organisation and people to the required future state.
  • Stakeholder Relationship Management: Experienced in creating new and improved approaches to performing business activities.
  • Methods and Tools: Experienced in ensuring methods and tools are adopted and used effectively throughout the organisation.
