Quality Assurance & Project Management Buy 
has been stood up within the technology department to leverage the opportunities presented by bought solutions to deliver on Handelsbanken PLC’s strategic modernisation and transformation goals. Quality Assurance & Project Management Buy  contains a suite of projects and change initiatives in the Digital Workplace, Customer, Data and Third-Party Application spaces all working together to modernise the Bank’s technology platforms and solutions, to deliver better value to both our business and our customers. 

The Modern Workplace Programme has been initiated to identify and deliver opportunities for modernisation and improvement in the digital workspaces our colleagues utilise to service our customers’ and business’ needs. The programme’s vision is to enable greater collaboration and communication between our colleagues and external collaborators, by delivering an inspiring digital workplace that enables innovation and engagement. 
Document Management is a cornerstone initiative for the Modern Workplace technical estate. There is a desire to revolutionise processes and solutions currently in place for the storing, archiving, and retrieving of documentation across the organisation. Once in place, content management and production will be next in queue for modernisation. This is an extensive project that requires careful scope management to ensure deliveries are kept manageable and achievable.

Main Responsibilities 

  • Overall Project Management according to the Handelsbanken Project Management model 
  • Define the business case and budget for the project and ensure deliverance. 
  • Guide project, technology, and business resources through the project’s lifecycle. 
  • Ensure that the solution follows the Bank’s architecture and security directives.
  • Organise, plan, and manage the project within the agreed framework.
  • Have ongoing dialogues with the Demander, Project Responsible Line Manager and Head of Delivery for Digi Workplaces to report progress, escalate challenges and ensure delivery of a solution that provides business value. 
  • Formally hand over to the production and maintenance organisations.

Necessary Skills: 
  • Experience delivering document and content management solutions.
  • Understanding of document retention and classification policies
  • Well versed in industry best practice for Digital & Modern Workplace initiatives        
  • External vendor management experience 
  • End to end project management experience, from inception and analysis through to delivery
  • Confident using Project Management solutions such as MS Project 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Has the ability to build effective networks with stakeholders, both internally and externally.
  • Experience in both waterfall and agile methodologies e.g. Scrum
  • A desire to continually improve the service delivered to customers.
Desirable Skills: 
  • Experienced with M365 and SharePoint
  • Scaled Agile experience (ideally)
  • Industry recognised Project Management qualification
