Main Responsibilities
Operational Control
Operation Control is an integral part of the Wealth Operations Team providing an operational control framework across all our key operational processes within Wealth Operations to ensure we deliver high standards of administrative order with particular focus on the FCA Client Money & Asset rules (CASS).
In addition, we provide monthly and ad-hoc management information to key stakeholders as well as various regulatory reporting on behalf of Handelsbanken Wealth including FATCA, CRS and ISA returns.
Core Team tasks
• Ensure all CASS related stock and cash reconciliations are completed in accordance with FCA CASS regulations and internal Service Level Agreements (SLAs) including monthly CMAR reporting.
• Daily exception management, ensuring any discrepancies are clearly documented and evidenced for audit purposes tracked and resolved in a timely manner in line with SLA (same day where possible) evidenced to resolution.
• Maintaining control tasks to support the operational processing procedures across Wealth Operations.
• Perform intraday control checks to identify any potential CASS issues and assess for any actions needed to resolve these.
• Maintenance of external Mandates and Trust Administration Letters.
• Enhance understanding of the end-to-end processes to help refine and streamline our tasks, which will allow scalability.
• User access administration for external providers relevant to Operations Department – creation / amend / deletion of users.
• Independent 4 eye check of key reconciliations and controls as required, to reduce errors, ensure consistency and good administrative order.
Support Internal External audits and relevant regulatory reporting
• FATCA CRS ISA reporting.
• Annual CASS audit.
• Support Compliance monitoring reviews for Wealth Operations.
Governance
• Ongoing maintenance of the Wealth Operations Best Practice Guide.
• Production of monthly management information and reporting.
• Operational Risk including maintenance of the Risk and Control Self Assessment (RCSA).
• Support the coordination and update of the business continuity plan for Wealth Operations.
Other
• Operates in line with the Bank's Risk Management framework (including sub-frameworks) and relevant risk and compliance policies and procedures, ensuring appropriate and timely escalation of any concerns to their line manager.

- Prior knowledge Wealth Management Banking would be an advantage but is not essential as full training will be provided.
