The opportunity

  • Settlement of treasury transactions including intragroup loans, deposits, money market loans, large wholesale deposits and Certificate of Deposit issuance/repayment.
  • Intraday liquidity monitoring, reporting and analysis (including with Bank of England and correspondent banks for all currencies).
  • Managing the Bank’s membership of the  CHAPS system at the Bank of England and managing the sterling CLS funding movements.
  • Onboarding and maintenance of UK Customer details in Capital Markets systems including credit limits, confirmation matching and settlement instructions.
  • Analysis of data for internal management and regulatory reporting
  • Operating in line with the Bank's Risk Management framework (including sub-frameworks) and relevant risk and compliance policies and procedures, ensuring appropriate and timely escalation of any concerns to their line manager.
  • The role requires an element of shift work.

The role holder should possess:

  • good analytical and numerical skills
  • a structured approach to work with an ability to prioritise time-sensitive tasks
  • good communication skills
  • knowledge and experience of Handelsbanken systems such as IBIS
  • nostro and payment process knowledge would advantageous but not essential
  • broad Treasury knowledge would advantageous but not essential
