The opportunity
- Settlement of treasury transactions including intragroup loans, deposits, money market loans, large wholesale deposits and Certificate of Deposit issuance/repayment.
- Intraday liquidity monitoring, reporting and analysis (including with Bank of England and correspondent banks for all currencies).
- Managing the Bank’s membership of the CHAPS system at the Bank of England and managing the sterling CLS funding movements.
- Onboarding and maintenance of UK Customer details in Capital Markets systems including credit limits, confirmation matching and settlement instructions.
- Analysis of data for internal management and regulatory reporting
- Operating in line with the Bank's Risk Management framework (including sub-frameworks) and relevant risk and compliance policies and procedures, ensuring appropriate and timely escalation of any concerns to their line manager.
- The role requires an element of shift work.

The role holder should possess:
- good analytical and numerical skills
- a structured approach to work with an ability to prioritise time-sensitive tasks
- good communication skills
- knowledge and experience of Handelsbanken systems such as IBIS
- nostro and payment process knowledge would advantageous but not essential
- broad Treasury knowledge would advantageous but not essential
