The opportunity 

We now have an opportunity for a Service & Oversight Associate to join the Business Support Governance team within Wealth Management,  This role is based in Tunbridge Wells and would suit someone with some previous experience in either financial services or wealth management. 

Key responsibilities

  • Ensure that the Handelsbanken Wealth Supplier Register is accurate and up to date at all times
  • Ensure all relevant supporting documentation is complete and accurate and stored centrally
  • Support the ongoing development of the Outsourcing & Third Party management framework, inline with business and regulatory requirements
  • Co-ordinate and facilitate the below Third party management activities with business stakeholders:
    • Due Diligence
    • Materiality & Inherent Risk Assessments
    • IRAMs
    • IT Due Diligence
    • Privacy Risk Assessments
  • Production of Management Information for the inclusion in reporting packs
  • Work collaboratively with Handelsbanken Plc Supply Chain Services to drive process improvements. Sharing best practise within the team, ways of working, improvements of frameworks and processes to manage suppliers for performance, risk and value
  • Manage user access to business critical systems including liaising with line managers as part of the joiner, mover, leaver (JML) process
  • Assist other key functions from time to time including:
    • Internal and External audits
    • Business Continuity Management activities

  • Strong organisation skills with ability to multitask and prioritise
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills and proven ability to effectively interact with team members, clients and peers, earning their trust and establishing credibility
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Being a self-starter with the ability and willingness to work on own initiative is essential
  • Experience within financial services, preferably the Wealth Management sector, and within similar governance Business Support functions
