Job Introduction
As the Salesforce Technical Lead this role will work closely with the Head of CRM and Salesforce Lead Architect to help with the design, development and day to day operations of the CRM platform(Salesforce and Other customer platforms) by partnering with senior stakeholders across the business identifying opportunities to deliver business and customer value through the extension of CRM services.
Main Responsibility
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Run/Ops team of Salesforce to help with BAU requests and maintain the Salesforce Platform.
- Along with the Lead architect responsible for the end-to-end design of solutions on the Salesforce platform and other CRM technologies.
- Help with the architecture of the end-to-end solution.
- Lead and mentor the development team in designing solutions for our strategic programmes.
- Also work in the capacity of a Lead developer helping build Salesforce complex solution where required leveraging Omnistudio, LWC, Flows etc.
- Help with migration of data from legacy systems.
- Build APIs in Salesforce to Integrate with different legacy systems and consume external services.
- Completion of solution architecture documents and artefacts in line with organisation standards.
- Enforce best practices and ensure quality delivery of enterprise solutions.
- Help in driving the application of DevOps tools especially Azure DevOps and necessary methodologies to establish a CI/CD process.
- Mentor team members and drive the direction of the team’s technical focus, training, and certifications.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to define solutions.
- Help establish the necessary governance and quality management framework.
- Provide input to the strategic direction of technology to assist in the development of the enterprise architecture.
- Identify Salesforce technical solutions and partner products to meet different requirements.
- Hands-on Salesforce solution development with proven knowledge and experience across both declarative configuration and programmatic development.
- Perform code reviews and sign-off technical design and solutions.
- Work closely with the InfoSec team, primarily focused on the security of the Bank's Salesforce platform and connected components.
The Ideal Candidate
Role Requirements:
- 8+ years of Salesforce experience with a few years of experience as a Salesforce Lead.
- Experience in Financial Service Cloud and Vlocity (Salesforce Industries).
- Expert in Salesforce customisation i.e. LWC and Apex.
- Good experience in Omnistudio – Omniscripts, Flex Cards, Data Raptors and Integration Procedures.
- Very good experience with different real time and batch integrations and patterns in Salesforce.
- Have a fair understanding of different partner products(app exchange) especially the widely used ones and the ones specific to financial services industry.
- People management skills, have prior experience of leading small development teams.
- Demonstrable track record of successful CRM design, planning, and implementation of Salesforce.
- Experience defining Salesforce optimization strategies.
- The ability to apply general organizational knowledge of the business and systems processes in problem analysis is required.
- Experience in leveraging DevOps tool like Azure DevOps to establish a CI/CD process and governance around the same.
- Have experience working with Partners who will help us deliver Salesforce solutions.
- Experience in working for a bank or a financial service institution is a plus
- Salesforce system architect and application architect certification is a plus
