The prudential risk team is responsible for the development and maintenance of the Bank’s risk management framework, coordination of the yearly ICAAP, recovery and resolution plan, ILAAP, Recovery plan, the horizon scanning process for the risk function and regulatory reporting oversight, among other things. The breadth of the deliverables and the fact that processes are continuously being developed and improved demands a flexible and collaborative approach from team members to ensure solid team performance in coordination with the business.
 
This Recovery and Resolution Lead will play a key role in the Bank and will be responsible for the coordination and execution of the recovery plan and for the oversight and coordination of activities for resolvability assessment.  

Main Responsibilities 

  • Lead the ongoing development, enhancement and coordination of the recovery plan;
  • Lead the ongoing development, enhancement and coordination of activities for resolvability assessment;
  • Lead and coordinate alignment efforts for recovery and resolution with colleagues in Group functions in Sweden;
  • Responsible for the maintenance of the Managemnt, Governance and Comunication (“MGC”) of RAF;
  • Lead  fire-drill resolution exercise; 
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert and lead Bank of England requests on  recovery and resolution;
  • Execute annual resolution reporting;
  • Provide input and support to regulatory horizon scanning and keep up to date and assess level of compliance with with regulatory requirements on recovery and resolvaility aspects;
  • Provide input and support to the yearly ICAAP and ILAAP exercise.

  • Hands on experience from recovery planning and/or resolution, including knowledge of Bank of England’s requirements for resolvability assessment. 
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills 
  • Strong knowledge of European and UK banking regulation and keen interest in emerging regulatory developments;
  • Hands on experience of regulatory self-assessment and/ or regulatory reporting;
  • Excellent knowledge of prudential regulation and all areas of financial risks
  • Be proactive and evidence a strong ability to drive deliverables involving a diverse set of stakeholders
  • Have experience in organisational change; be proactive and evidence a strong ability to drive change
