Main Responsibilities 

This role is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract, with the primary purpose to support the integration of a new mortgage system as part of the banks Business Transformation plans.
Handelsbanken Branch Connect undertake a variety of administrative tasks on behalf of our branches with the aim of providing them with more time to have meaningful interactions with customers. As the team continues to evolve an exciting opportunity has arisen to support with an additional workstream focused on supporting the bank with deploying a new mortgage system. This role offers the opportunity to build a sound knowledge of the bank's core systems, contribute to achieving our wider IT infrastructure goals and learn more about workflow management and project remediation. The role requires an individual who is comfortable working in a fast paced environment where the immediate priority of providing a high quality processing output is balanced with a passion for problem solving and solution finding.  

  • Work within a small team of ‘ringfenced’ administrative resource to support with the processing, cleansing and migrating of Bank data. 
  • Act as a support function for the Branch network through initial launch periods.
  • Take responsibility for an allocation of project or remediation work, managing your own time to work towards specific deadlines.
  • Comfortable working within a high volume and demanding data processing environment to deliver accurate outputs.
The role is based at 101 Barbirolli Square in Manchester

The team will work closely with the other Connect Teams to build a diverse and multifaceted service focused on supporting our branches. The applicant therefore must be assertive, flexible, proactive and conscientious with a positive attitude and be a strong team player.
