Job Introduction
Main Responsibilities
- Supporting the Bank’s Operational Resilience assessment process including:
- Identifying Important Business Services
- Setting Impact Tolerances
- Identifying and documenting key resources
- Planning and facilitating operational disruption scenario tests
- Creating and documenting resilience action plans
- Producing content for Op Res Self-Assessment reports.
- Supporting the Bank’s OCIR assessment process including:
- Identifying Critical Services
- Identifying and documenting key resources
- Documenting operational arrangements
- Identification and assessment of supplier agreements and charging structures
- Planning and facilitating resolution and recovery scenario tests
- Producing content for OCIR plans, playbooks and reports.
- Monitoring and reporting on delivery of Op Res and OCIR action plans
- Working collaboratively with other teams across the Bank to integrate and align Continuity and Resilience related activities.
- Providing business analysis support to the Operational Resilience & Continuity Lead.

- Effective planner with ability to independently identify the steps needed to achieve a goal.
- Proficient in use of Visio or similar process modelling tools.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
The candidate does not necessarily need to be familiar with the resilience industry, although having had some exposure to Business Continuity, Operational Resilience and OCIR, or experience working as a Business Analyst within a Financial Services organisation is preferred.
