Operates in line with the Bank's Risk Management framework (including sub-frameworks) and relevant risk and compliance policies and procedures, ensuring appropriate and timely escalation of any concerns to their line manager.

Whilst the strategy sets out the intended direction for Privacy and Information & Cyber Security, this is not a static position. The evolution of Cyber threats continues to challenge organisations globally, it is therefore essential that there is room for the organisation to pivot Security direction and requirements at any point as threats evolve.
To support this objective, we are looking for a talented colleague who is passionate about Information & Cyber Security. They will be required to review current state across all of our capabilities and help direct strategic outcomes to ensure the organisation stays secure. This requires interaction across the wider IT teams as well as close and directive work within the UKTI team.
Main Responsibilities
- Review the “current state” of the Security Capabilities and ensure alignment across all of the measures to ensure an accurate position is understood.
- Work with Capability owners to confirm the “to-be” position for the capabilities, thus ensuring the gaps are clearly documented and understood.
- Consolidate both the UKTI & Wider plan deliveries to ensure the Information Security & Cyber Strategy is delivered.
- Provide appropriate specialist advice to the teams involved in delivering Strategic outcomes, including any potential changes to scope that may happen through the lifespan.
- Manage the Strategic Delivery Plan throughout the year ensuring all of the contributing deliverables are represented and presented to the UKTI Management Team on a monthly basis.
- Contribute to Group interactions on the overall delivery of the Strategy. Consider and ensure alignment between Group and plc.

- Solid experience in analysis work
- Good understanding of what it takes to build and maintain an effective Strategy plan
- Plan, organise and prioritise tasks and projects effectively
- Pragmatic, and effectively balances risk and control requirements with commercial drivers
- Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
- Positive, collaborative and builds and maintains effective relationship with others
- Able to influence decision making to surface and mitigate issues and risks across a wide range of stakeholders
