HRIS Analyst

Job Introduction



A role has arisen within our HR teams' HRIS function; as an HRIS Analyst.

This role will sit within the HRIS team with the aim to support HR systems improvements, troubleshooting and deploying new systems within the bank.


Main Responsibilities 

  • Work closely with HR, Payroll, IT, and other teams to roll out sustainable solutions
  • Gather requirements, build, test and support the deployment of new functionality for multiple modules within various HR systems in line with the HR System strategy.
  • Lead end-to-end configuration, testing, and deployment of current and new system improvements.
  • Research, analyse and suggest opportunities for self-service management
  • Proactively review and test functionality from HR system releases to ensure business impacts are understood and areas for improvement are addressed.
  • Provide functional support for end-users, helping troubleshoot and resolve system issues including building solutions if required. 
  • Provide training, demonstrations and documentation to business stakeholders as required
  • Maintain documentation of configuration, requirements, testing
  • Ensure access management recording is standardised with sufficient controls, reviewing on a regular basis in line with the Banks policy and in line with audit requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with Data Privacy and Protection Guidelines.
  • Undertake regular data cleansing of the HR systems and ensuring compliance with GDPR requirements.
  • Work closely with HR to ensure a high level of data integrity is maintained.
  • Support the MI Specialist in the development of standard and ad hoc reports, templates, dashboards, scorecards, and metrics as and when required.
  • Performs the planning, system design, system implementation, system maintenance and support.
  • Frequently serves as the lead contact for HR technology questions and partner with vendors on issues resolution.
  • Performs functional systems administrator duties to maintain day to day operations of HR related systems.
  • Frequently leads functional testing of new system features and module releases evaluating the impact to Handelsbanken process with additional guidance.
  • Participates in all aspects of HRIS of new/replacement HR technologies and roadmap discussions and act as a true consultative partner for HR.

  • Ideally you will have had involvement in the implementation of HR systems, such as Workday
  • Experience coordinating & leading cross-functional team projects independently
  • In-depth, hands-on experience in configuring HR systems, in particular iTrent, Saba, 
  • Experience building end-to-end configuration of data integrations highly desirable (benefit carriers, SFTP, RaaS)
  • Strong problem solver, critical thinker, quick learner who works well in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent verbal, analytical, and collaboration skills
  • Advanced report writer and dashboard experience
