Main Responsibilities 

Operates in line with the Bank's Risk Management framework (including sub-frameworks) and relevant risk and compliance policies and procedures, ensuring appropriate and timely escalation of any concerns to their line manager. 

Reporting to the Head of HR Operations, you will be responsible for driving improvement across all HR processes, ensuring processes are understood and adhered to. Implementing automation where possible. 

The HR function is embarking on the implementation of a new HR system that will strategically transform our operations. This role will be pivotal in supporting this work, ensuring that our processes are adapted and aligned with optimal ways of working.

The role will be a fixed term contract for 12 months.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse and design HR processes to identify alternative solutions to improve efficiency, effectiveness  and exploit new technologies and automation.
  • Work closely with key stakeholders to develop, implement and embed process changes.
  • Monitor and track the impact of process improvements.
  • Provide Learning & Development with requirements to produce training materials and facilitate workshops to ensure understanding and compliance with new and/or revised processes.
  • Responsible for creating and maintaining process documentation including process maps, user guides and standard operating procedures.
  • Own and maintain local instructions and departmental instructions.
  • Work closely with HRIS to identify and implement process automation.
  • Support the Ops Readiness Manager & Programme Manager in delivering a successful HR System implementation into Handelsbanken, responsible for specific process design of SME disciplines with the expectation of working collectively with all SMEs to define the ‘To Be’ process models for the new HR System.
  • Support the dedicated Business Analyst in documenting the processes (assisting with production where required) and user acceptance testing to ensure functionality reflects process design.
  • Work with Learning & Development on training and user guide collateral as appropriate for all processes.
  • Supports the Head of HR Operations with process audits and control assurance.

  • A good understanding and knowledge of HR processes and employee journeys.
  • Strong technical Microsoft skills, specifically in relation to Visio and PowerPoint
  • Good presentation skills
  • Ability to build strong professional relationships at all levels. 
  • Attention to detail and an organised approach to work.
  • Relevant experience in change management.
