Job Introduction
Responsibility for the support and provision of facilities at Head Office premises at Barbirolli Square Manchester,
This includes the physical security of those staff and premises.
Main Responsibility
- The Facilities Assistant, BSQ will support the FM as part of the Facilities team, responsibilities include Print and Post Service, Premises Support, Facilities Management, Security & Access Control, and reception:
- Co-ordinate, direct and manage all facilities management and security of BSQ premises;
- Liaise with and manage key relationships, including:-
- the landlord (and their staff / agents);
- site maintenance contractors;
- external consultants;
- cleaning/hygiene contractors and any other service providers to BSQ;
- Support in the Day to day management of the delivery of services to BSQ;
- Delivery reception services as required.
- Ordering of Stationary, key supplies and Reviewing/approval of invoices relating BSQ Facilities with escalation and recommendations to the Facilities Manager for approval as appropriate.
- Support in the management and maintenance of critical power systems in BSQ.
- Support the FM in the management of Planned and Preventative Maintenance.
- Supoort the FM in Managing Statutory building Compliance.
- Assist with the co-ordination of DR procedures for BSQ.
- Maintain/introduce systems/processes to ensure appropriate levels of building security, fire protection and health & safety.
- Assit in Managing faciliites contracts and the group e-mail box
- Maintain a good working knowledge of various areas of Commercial Property/Facilities Managements laws/regulations applicable to the Bank.
- Assit in Managing key suppliers and contracts making sure we receive VFM
- Management of the group e-mail box
- Working with the team to ensure the highest level of customer service in FM, front of house and guest services.
- Support the facilities Manager in all Facilities operations throughout BSQ
- Assist in making sure the building is kept to a high standard of cleanliness and repairs are dealt with in a timely manner.
- Support with the provision of daily statements and returns.
- Deputise for the Facilities Manager where required.
The Ideal Candidate
Will have experience within a facilities assistant role and have worked within a corporate working environment.
