The opportunity
We are looking for a Executive Assistant to join us on a 12month FTC basis.
To support and contribute to the continued success of Handelsbanken and the Finance department; as Executive Assistant to Chief Financial Officer you will act as a trusted partner to the Chief Financial Officer and ensure the smooth and efficient management of their day-to-day activities.
Key responsibilities
- Complex diary management; including but not limited to; organising workshops and meetings, scheduling video conferences and organising internal and external team events
- Arrange and book business travel
- Process expenses in accordance with Bank policy
- Proactively manage the CFO inbox and email correspondence; controlling information flow and delegation of tasks in a timely and accurate manner
- Proactive management of CFO to do list, deadlines and submissions will be required as well as the monitoring of ongoing actions, assisting with proof reading, formatting and compiling of management papers and PowerPoint slides
- Manage your development by staying up to date with new initiatives and systems; in order to proactively relay relevant information to the CFO in a timely manner
- Build networks and develop relationships with key colleagues across the finance team, Group, Districts and UK departments, in particular the Governance department, UK Board and a small team of EAs
- Operate in line with the Bank's Risk Management framework (including sub-frameworks) and relevant risk and compliance policies and procedures, ensuring appropriate and timely escalation of any concerns to their line manager

- Proven experience as an Executive Assistant
- Ability to prioritise workloads and multi-task
- Exceptional organisation skills, with a very high degree of accuracy
- Exercise confidentiality, discretion and personal sensitivity in all aspects of the role
- Confident in client and public situations
- Demonstrates flexibility and resilience, with a diplomatic approach
- Confidence in providing complex support to members of the executive team
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook; contributing to preparing business documentation to a high standard
- Excellent use of verbal and written English communication skills
