Job Introduction
The Digital Workplace Security & Governance Lead will provide crucial knowledge and support to the M365 Platform Owner in driving forward this team within the bank. The M365 team is a new team that will play an important part in redefining our ways of working with communication & collaboration tools (email, calendar, messaging, video conferencing & telephony) with the primary focus being the various Microsoft 365 applications - Outlook, SharePoint and Teams. A proven experience of Microsoft Azure, Office 365 and Endpoint security solutions (E5) is desirable.
Main Responsibility
- Deliver subject matter expertise of M365 with emphasis in governance, architectural design, security, migration, management and support of implementations.
- Provide overall M365 security expertise including strong knowledge of Azure Active Directory, Azure Information Protection, Information Rights Management, single sign-on and multi-factor authentication and related technologies (including Microsoft Enterprise Mobility + Security).
- Demonstrate consultative capabilities by providing value added information to clients for connecting technology, security and the business value of M365.
- Drive digital workplace governance adoption and lead technical effort to enable Azure Information Protection.
- Lead and participate in ongoing Digital Workplace security and strategy discussions.
- Stay current of all things M365, including changes & updates, roadmap & releases, and third-party solutions.
- Advise on document system configurations, standards and procedures.
- Assist in shaping the Bank’s document and retention policies through use of SharePoint.
- Drive and develop Digital Workplace Security roadmaps in close collaboration with service owners and vendors.
- Provides technical direction on Security Issues identified and manages technical changes required to remediate issues identified.
