Role Overview
Debt Capital Markets (DCM) is responsible for marketing, advising on, structuring and execution of various forms of solutions for larger and/or complex financing needs.
Main Responsibilities
To further strengthen and develop the Bank’s larger corporate client business, by;
- Being a point of contact for Handelsbanken plc’s Relationship Managers in all DCM related matters and coordinating these within the Group’s DCM function.
- Keeping internal stakeholders updated on DCM matters, such as market and product trends, pricing and terms.
- Helping drive the development of the offering to larger corporates and real estate investment vehicles, enhancing the relationships with existing clients and developing prospects.
- Origination and acting as a project manager in loan transactions, commonly engaging with clients at CFO/FD and Group Treasurer level, banks, debt advisors, lawyers and other professionals.
- Growing and maintaining a commercial contact network around the loan product area, externally and internally.
- Operating in line with the Bank's Risk Management framework (including sub-frameworks) and relevant risk and compliance policies and procedures, ensuring appropriate and timely escalation of any concerns.

- In-depth experience from investment banking/capital markets, and of dealing with large corporate and real estate investing clients.
- Possession of detailed knowledge and understanding of capital markets products/instruments/solutions, in particular loan origination and structuring.
- Being able to lead, structure, negotiate and execute transactions for larger and/or complex financing needs.
- Strong knowledge of corporate analysis, credit evaluation, accounting and related risk management.
- Being disciplined in self-management, with good problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- A team player with attention to detail and accuracy, with an organised approach to work.
