Job Introduction
Main Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data and capability needs and translate them into a comprehensive data strategy. This includes defining data sources, data quality standards and data architecture for Customer and Product Capabilities, including Analytics and MI.
- Develop and implement logical and physical data models, including dimensional data models, to ensure data integrity, consistency, and efficient data retrieval.
- Designing and implementing business intelligence (BI) solutions to support data-driven decision making.
- Support the Analytics teams with development, maintenance and automation of dashboards and reports to visualize data and communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Integrate data from various sources, including databases, APIs, and cloud services, using appropriate tools and techniques by working closely with the data teams.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to data analysts and other team members.
- Design and develop robust and scalable data pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and loading (ETL/ELT) using tools where applicable.
- Design and implement data warehousing and data lake architectures to store and manage large volumes of structured and unstructured data by working closely with the data management and architecture teams.
- Transform raw data into a usable format for analysis and reporting, using data transformation tools and techniques.
- Design and implement cloud-based data solutions leveraging services like Azure, DBT, PowerBI and Databricks, considering scalability, security, and cost-effectiveness.
- Support with the implementation and maintenance of data quality checks to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency, working closely with the Customer and Product Data Stewards

- Proven experience managing and delivering modern data infrastructure (Data warehousing, Azure cloud, databricks).
- Experience in bridging the gap between technical and non-technical teams by translating complex data into actionable insights.
- Extensive SQL, Python and R experience to source, analyse, normalise and process data for quality validations
- Experience using data visualisation tools to present complex analysis is essential e.g. Power BI, Tableau, ThoughtSpot etc
- Experience creating and using data models and data definitions
- Experience of leading projects and leading/influencing a diverse stakeholder group, including senior stakeholders
