Credit Oversight Support

Job Introduction

UKKO has functional responsibility for credit risk oversight, credit data and portfolio management.

The key stakeholders for the UKKO Credit Support are UKK Departments, the UK Credit Oversight Committee, UK Management Risk & Compliance Committee, Board & Risk Committee, UK Board, Districts, Branches, Chief Branch Office, UKR, UKD, UKQ, Internal / External Auditors and to support interactions with UK Regulators.

The UKKO Credit Support role is based TMS, but flexible working arrangements can be discussed based on individual circumstances.

Main Responsibility

 

  • Responsibility for maintenance and production of key statistical information for use within UKKO and UKK.
  • Collating and reconciling reports received from the Local Credit Teams.
  • Collation and administrative co-ordination including Secretariat support as required, for Credit Oversight Committee
  • Collation and distribution Collections & Recoveries Oversight Forum, minutes and protocols.
  • Aggregated monitoring of Credit Policy Exceptions and breaches of Credit Policy and Instructions
  • Managing the Credit Oversight Committee Action Log on behalf of UKK
  • Provide consolidated UK Credit reports to the Group Credit function as may be required from time to time.
  • Prepare and co-ordinate regulatory credit information and maintain adequate records of matters and dealings that are relevant for compliance with requirements and standards with regulatory system.
  • Assist in ensuring the effectiveness of departmental systems and controls to ensure compliance with standards required, both internally and externally.
  • Providing support to queries raised by UKK and Branches .
  • Where appropriate, involvement in various credit related project work including support to UKK in relation to ongoing credit administration .
  • Liaising with and supporting UKK colleagues on credit related administrative matters.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Analytical; 
  • Strong attention to detail;
  • Sound knowledge of business control processes and analysis;
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, Access and Power Point;
  • Structured work practise and a strong sense of administrative order;
  • Strong communication skills.
